1. Check your hair is clean. You can apply a leave in conditioner to give it a boost or, if it's greasy and/or knotted, wash it and blowdry with the nozel pointing downwards.
2. Turn on your straight iron and curling iron and brush your hair well as you wait. Flip your hair over and brush the underside to keep it entirely sleek. Use a tail comb to give yourself a center parting and apply heat defence. Then pick up your straight iron and straighten your hair roughly (but keep it neat, don't throw the hair around) Take your bangs, which should be equally in half, and straighten them curling the ends back.
3. Take your curling iron and take a 3 inch section from your hair and curling it until you're about 3 inches from the roots, the hold for 15 seconds and release. Then do the same with a 2 inch section, and a one inch section. Repeat on the other side of your head.
(Look at Aj's hair for ideas of where to position the curls).
